Job Description

We are urgently looking for suitable candidates for Marketing Finance in a leading Alco Bev MNC in Gurgaon.

Position Purpose

To manage the smooth flow of all BI related financial transactions & ensure adherence to key process guidelines. Additionally, support the Finance & Marketing teams with the flow of information, analysis & insights around monthly & quarterly Brand Investments (BI) utilisation for the India Business.

Key Duties and Responsibilities


  • Assist in timely creation of A&PRs before the activity as and when required by Brand Managers & Marketing Executive.

  • Assist in the timely creation and subsequent management of WBS codes, Purchase Requisitions.

  • Monitoring of open A&PRs and Purchase Orders on monthly basis.

  • Processing payments of Marketing vendors with sufficient supporting documentation in line with policy.
  • Record GRNI entries on receipts of material/ services in line with policy.
  • Assist in collation of monthly BI provisions after aligning with Brand Team as per the agreed timelines. Timely and accurate actualization of provisions.
  • Ensure booking of expenses in correct Marketing GL accounts and brand wise split as aligned with marketing.

  • Provide support for monthly review of marketing accrual status, non-payments/ delayed payment of invoices, taking corrective action where required

  • Support in Monthly and YTD tracking & analysis of brand investments.

    1. Quantitative parameters

    ► Ensuring a compliant A&P to Purchase Order process for all transactions. Measured by %age of A&Ps / POs created on time before the activity.

    ► Ensuring monthly and YTD accruals with actual spends. Measured %age of reports shared timely.

    ► Timely recording of GRNI entries based on adequate supporting documentation

    ► Ensure correct accounting of brands investment with GL codes and brand split. Measured minimum deviation from the alignment.

    ► Timely processing of BI vendor payments.


    2. Qualitative parameters

    ► Establish & maintain healthy relationship Key stakeholders- Finance, Brand teams.

    ► Good working relationship with relevant stakeholders at the Agencies & Vendors

    ► Level of organisation brought into the entire A&P to PO to Accruals process.

    ► Innovation of ideas demonstrated in improving the current process across any of BI spends elements

    Required Candidate profile

    Key Capabilities



    ► CA intermediate - Basic Financial process understanding


    Preferred experience

    ► 3+ years overall experience in handling a similar role in other Organisation or Geography across BSI

    ► Experience & understanding of key marketing activities - Agency fees, digital, Activations, Promotions Events, media, etc.
